Our Story

CAS was founded in response to the challenges facing Sudan’s healthcare system in the aftermath of the war. As hospitals struggled under increasing pressure, many facilities were forced to operate with weakened systems, inconsistent documentation, disrupted clinical processes, and limited quality oversight.

Our approach focuses on practical improvement, sustainable processes, and supporting healthcare teams in delivering safer, more organized, and higher-quality patient care even in resource-constrained settings.
we strengthens healthcare systems in Sudan by embedding clinical audit, quality improvement, and staff capacity building into public hospitals — using a low-cost, scalable, locally owned model.

Our Vision

A future where every patient in resource-limited healthcare settings receives safe, effective, and dignified care — regardless of geography or economic status — delivered by a competent, empowered, and accountable healthcare workforce.

Our Mission

To strengthen healthcare systems in low-resource environments by embedding sustainable clinical audit, quality improvement, health data systems, protocol adherence, and continuous healthcare staff capacity building into public hospitals — using a low-cost, scalable, and locally owned model.

Our Values

Every intervention we design is evidence-based, grounded in data rather than assumptions. We prioritize locally owned solutions, developed in close collaboration with hospital staff to ensure relevance and adoption. Our approach is systemic, focusing on strengthening processes rather than addressing isolated symptoms. We are committed to sustainability, building systems that continue to function and improve long after our direct involvement. Above all, we are driven by equity, ensuring that the most vulnerable patients and under-resourced hospitals remain at the center of every decision we make.
